Meet our amazing instructors and staff at Deep Soul Yoga, dedicated to guiding you on your journey toward strength, balance, and inner peace!

Andrea Bair, owner of Deep Soul Yoga + Sauna, first discovered yoga in 2005 but became fully immersed in her practice in 2018. Yoga has not only strengthened her physically, mentally, and emotionally, but has also supported her through some of the most challenging times in her life.

Andrea received her 200-hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification in September 2019 and began teaching immediately. She has taught at seven yoga studios in the Triad area before launching Deep Soul Yoga + Sauna in 2024.

Yoga is Andrea’s greatest passion, and she deeply respects all styles of yoga and meditation. Teaching gives her the opportunity to connect with others and make a positive impact in their lives. Sharing the transformative power of yoga is one of the most rewarding experiences for her, and she is honored and excited to share its benefits with as many people as possible.

Sandra Newton has been practicing yoga for nearly 19 years. She began with hot yoga and quickly fell in love with it. As a former runner who enjoyed the runner’s high, she found that the hot room brought the next best thing to that feeling. Unfortunately, Sandra’s running days were cut short due to Degenerative Disc Disease, a condition caused by her running. In search of therapy, she turned to hot yoga, but the damage in her spine was too severe, leading to spinal fusion surgery to correct the affected area.

After years of dedicated practice and being a stay-at-home mom, Sandra enrolled in yoga teacher training and obtained her certification in October 2023, immediately starting her teaching journey. Along the way, she discovered a love for Inferno Hot Pilates and earned her certification in that as well. Sandra’s true passion lies in teaching in the hot room, whether it’s Yoga Sculpt or Inferno Hot Pilates. She guarantees a phenomenal workout every time you meet her on the mat.

Britney Jaimes believes that movement brings us back to our breath and the present moment. Inspired by Yogananda, her passion for the yogi path continues to grow. For Britney, yoga is about much more than physical movement—it’s a journey within, a way to discover who we truly are and to connect with something beyond ourselves. Her love for yoga began over 10 years ago, and she completed her teacher training in 2024. Now, she is dedicated to helping others find their peace through yoga.

Britney teaches the following classes:

Saturday morning: Hot Vinyasa

Wednesday night: Power Hot Vinyasa

Lyra is a humanistic, highly sensitive teacher and guide.  She is a modern day alchemist working with energetics, movement, breath, and sound to harmonize all layers of the self. Her inspiration comes through her devotion to deep listening and radical welcoming. Lyra’s passion is creating safe spaces for all parts of our inner systems to be present, safe, and held in love. She weaves together tools, teachings, healing modalities, and guidance that is intuitive and transformational.

The space Lyra cultivates is one that inspires beings to rest inside of their inner freedom and forge a connection with their inner compass, trusting the unique language of their bodies, minds, and souls. Lyra believes that every human has the power to self-balance, self-regulate, and self-heal through the process of conscious embodiment, sounding, and relaxation.

Certified Yoga Teacher (200hr Hatha, 220hr Kundalini, Yoga Nidra), Embody Keys Instructor, Shamanic Practitioner, Craniosacral Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Practitioner, and Vocal Sound Healing Practitioner. Lyra’s yoga journey was initiated in 2013 through experiencing extreme anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Through committing to a daily practice she was able to overcome these symptoms and create a new baseline of health, happiness, awareness, and self-trust.

Casia Beck is a dedicated yoga instructor with a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification. With a passion for holistic wellness, she combines a deep understanding of anatomy, and various teaching styles to create transformative classes. Casia emphasizes mindful movement, breathwork, and the importance of cultivating a personal practice. She is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, guiding students of all levels on their journey toward physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Beyond the mat, Casia enjoys exploring nature, reading, and continuing her education in wellness and mindfulness practices.

Abbey Lefko has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. For her, yoga is a fun and challenging way to connect with and move her body. She fell in love with hot yoga after graduating from undergrad in 2019 and was obsessed with how practicing in the heat made her feel strong and capable while also providing enough of a challenge to keep her quick-moving mind quiet.
Abbey possesses the designation of RYT-500 from the Yoga Alliance and has been teaching yoga in various settings for over three years. Abbey received her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification in the spring of 2021 and her 300-hour certification later that year, both with
Arrichion Hot Yoga and Circuit Training in Charlotte, NC.
Teaching yoga allows Abbey to share her love of yoga with her community and help others find the joy she has found through her practice. As a yoga teacher, she is committed to making yoga
accessible to anyone willing to step on their mat. She firmly believes that it doesn’t matter what we look like in the poses, instead, it matters how we feel in our bodies.
When Abbey is not on her mat she works as a licensed clinical mental health counselor specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. She often utilizes her yoga training in the therapy room to assist her clients in feeling safe in their bodies and finding joy in movement and breathing.

Krista is a loving wife and mother, who works full time as a nurse. Nurturing and taking care of others has alway come naturally to Krista, causing self-care to be put last in her life. It wasn’t until about two years ago that Krista became serious about making an effort to start nurturing and taking care of herself. She decided to attend her very first hot yoga class at a local yoga studio. It was in this class that she met Andrea. Andrea’s passion for yoga inspired Krista to attend more classes.  During her yoga journey, Krista has become a huge advocate for self-care.

“Come try a Hot Super Slow Stretch, it is a great class for beginners.  You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.  Sign up now, you won’t regret it!”

Meet Scott! A thought about Dandasana. You need not work at a yoga studio to practice staff pose. There are many people who are unemployed or underemployed who gain great benefit from staff pose. That said, I am thrilled to be on staff here at Deep Soul yoga and happy to help you progress along your wellness journey.

With such a broad range of classes there is a fit for everyone. Check out our class description page to find one that appeals to you.
